Business Experience - Hudson Falls NY Central School (1973-1975) - high school teacher and coach; New York Life Insurance Company (1975-1982) - insurance sales and management; Citigroup (1982-1999) - financial consultant with E.F. Hutton, Shearson-Lehman Brothers, and Smith Barney Inc.; GateHouse Financial Advisors LLP (1999-present) - financial planning and investment management.

Organizations - Steve has sat on many area boards including the United Way, First Congregation Chuch (Manchester VT), and the Manchester Parks and Recreation Department.  Currently he is president of Manchester Youth Soccer, board member of the Southwestern Vermont Youth Soccer League, and founder of the Sandlot Soccer Swim program (2004) which is enthusiastically sponsored by GateHouse Financial Advisors LLP. Our company is working hard to return good old fashion values to local youth sports.

Hobbies - coaching soccer, hiking, skiing, boating, landscaping, and reading

Family - Ginny and Steve were married 1/12/1974 and lived in Rutland VT (1974-1979), Brandon VT (1979-1987) and Manchester VT (1987–present).  They have two children:  Philip (25) and Elizabeth (17).  Ginny has been an elementary school teacher for 20+ years and a school librarian for 10+ years.  She is currently employed by the Mountain School in Winhall  Vt.

Business Philosophy - Steve's focus has always been on the client's bottom line; that is, structuring and monitoring an investment portfolio to match the client's stated goals and objectives.  His most valued achievement has been the ability to service multi-generational clients during his long career in the financial business.
